Software inventory
Installed and running applications collected with version, hash, publisher and install date.
Which software, on which device, and how many seats are actually used? Argus answers on one screen.
Argus inventories every installed and running application on endpoints with version and hash identity, measures real usage (active window, title, idle time), produces licence and contract visibility, surfaces zombie licences, detects and acts on Shadow IT, maps CVE risk onto device inventory and deploys or uninstalls MSI packages remotely.
Licence audits, software waste and unapproved applications are invisible cost lines in most organizations. Argus grounds its inventory in real data collected from individual machines: which version, which hash, how many seats are actually used? Being installed is not enough — Argus measures active window, window title and idle time to show whether a licence is genuinely used. Shadow IT policy, CVE risk mapping and remote MSI deployment are layered on the same inventory. The result: software cost and attack surface managed in one console.
Installed and running applications collected with version, hash, publisher and install date.
Seat usage, contract renewal dates and savings potential from unused licences.
Black / whitelist policies detect unapproved applications with warn, block or remove actions.
Known vulnerabilities are mapped to device and software inventory, listing the machines actually affected.
MSI packages deploy remotely to selected device groups with results and failures reported by the agent.
Active window, window title and idle time reveal whether a licence is genuinely in use.
Working hours, breaks and active usage trends are reported per user and department.
Never-opened or rarely-used software is flagged with recommendations before renewal.
Usage intensity of CAD and resource-heavy applications is reported separately for seat optimization.
The Argus agent shares its telemetry and command channel with SeeNose, PRIVIA and XEnterpriseBrowser.
Unused seats, duplicate licences and multi-version costs are reported, supporting decisions before renewal.
User–device–software relationships align with Argus Identity and AD / Entra data.
Argus consists of Flutter agent telemetry on endpoints, a .NET backend API and the Argus SAM Dashboard at sam.seed.tr. The agent collects installed applications, version and hash identity, running processes, active window/title and idle durations. The dashboard merges this with licence seats, the contract renewal calendar and cost models; zombie-licence and usage analytics come from the same dataset. The Shadow IT policy engine, CVE mapping and MSI install/uninstall jobs run in isolated controller areas.
Large Windows fleets and annual licence audits
Seat optimization through real usage measurement
Security and asset teams needing a shared inventory
Software standardization and package rollout
Shadow IT cleanup campaigns
Licence verification for CAD and expensive software
Patch management and version compliance
Yes. Both products can share the same agent backbone; SeeNose governs operations and performance while Argus governs software, usage and licences.
Argus measures active window, window title and idle time, so “installed but never opened” licences are flagged as zombies.
Full support for Windows-heavy fleets; Linux and macOS inventory is collected on the same schema.
Contract and seat data are defined in the admin console; usage data comes straight from agent telemetry, with alerts 30–180 days before renewal.
A typical pilot environment is ready in 1–2 days; enterprise rollout is planned with phased agent deployment.
Let's schedule a 30-minute walkthrough built on your own scenario, then define the pilot scope together.
