What does it do?

Argus AI Guard is AI security posture management: shadow AI discovery, AI app/model/agent inventory, MCP server and tool security, AI data access, and governance. AI agents map to canonical machine/NHI identities; prompt/response content is never read.

Expected outcome

Outcome: the AI surface becomes visible, MCP and data access are auditable, and AI risk joins the central language.

What problems does it solve?

Shadow AI usage not visible

Unclear ownership/privilege for AI agents and MCP servers

No view of which data store or secret AI can reach

AI risk not linked to the enterprise risk/finding language

What is the product strength?

Provider connector platform (metadata only)

AI app/model/agent/MCP inventory

Identity NHI mapping + Argus Graph emission

AI data access, secret posture, and MCP risk

Central Risk & Finding + AttackPath integration

Where is it most effective?

01

Orgs with rapidly growing AI usage

02

MCP server and tool security review

03

Combining AI data access with DSPM

04

Bringing shadow AI under governance

Capabilities

AI & MCP inventory

AI apps, models, agents, and MCP servers.

Shadow AI

Discovery of unapproved AI usage.

AI access graph

Agent → data, identity, and secret relationships.

Architecture

Argus AI Guard discovers AI applications, models, agents, and MCP servers at the metadata level via the provider connector platform (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Vertex, etc.). AI agents map to canonical machine/NHI identities; agent → model, agent → MCP server, agent → data store, and agent → secret relationships emit onto the Argus Graph. Findings land on the central Finding pipeline and risk feeds the central Risk engine; leak and exposure projection is consumed by AttackPath. Prompt/response content is never read.
